Vintage Clip Art for DIY Projects

I adore vintage clip art. I want to use it everywhere. Wedding signs, menus, programs... you get the picture (no pun intended!). I want to share a sampling of the swoon-worthy clip art available (for free!) right here on the web. Who says we can't have champagne on a beer budget?

Show Me a Sign

Show me a wedding sign, and I'm smitten. Show me a truly original, unique-to-you wedding sign, and I'm head over heels. Huge props to Joni Lay, designer and illustrator at Chocolate Butterbean in Atlanta, Georgia. Aren't these custom wedding signs to die for?

{DIY} Beverage Stand

I am completely enthralled with DIY beverage stands. From a self-constructed lemonade stand pre-ceremony, to 'serve yourself' pre-mixed elixirs at the reception, the possibilities are endless.

Pre-ceremony, try serving yellow or pink lemonade (spring), peach iced tea (summer), apple cider (fall), egg nog, or hot chocolate (winter). Display clear plastic cups, small glasses, or mason jars next to your drink dispenser(s). For an extra-chic touch, offer drinking straws or stirrers.

To save yourself a bartender at your home reception, try pre-mixing a few 'signature' drinks and set them up in beverage dispensers so that your guests may help themselves. This works especially well for backyard receptions. Here are some ideas of which I am especially fond:

A rustic, self-constructed lemonade stand is given a dose of country charm with mason jars, wildflowers, and a hand-painted sign.

What could be better than cookies? Cookies with drinks! Give your guests options by offering multiple drink choices, and switch it up with ladles in top-opening jars. A colorful banner gives your beverage stand some character.

Chalk boards are a cute way to announce your beverage stand, and a hand-sewn linen adds a cheery focal point to an otherwise simple display.

Paper straws and vintage milk bottles make any drink irresistable.

Save money (and look marvelous doing it) with a DIY reception bar. Pre-mixed drinks allow guests to pour their own and act as their own bartenders.

Farmtastic

I may be partial to farm weddings, as our wedding will be a farm wedding... but I don't think the charm and warmth of these weddings will ever get old. Likewise, I fell in love with this one:

{Blingful} Brooches

As an extension of my adoration of fur coats and shrugs over wedding gowns, I wanted to shine light on the beautiful brooches that hold it all together. And they don't stop there... from wedding gown sashes to bouquet wraps, the broochabilities are endless.

I created a collection of some of my personal favorites:

It's Official... I Won!

Priscilla of Boston has posted the official results of their contest, "How Does Priscilla of Boston Inspire You?" I am so excited to have won the Grand Prize in this contest! Not only is Priscilla of Boston gracious to provide a wedding gown of my choice, but my fiance and I get to go on a mini-vacay to NYC in April to attend the Priscilla of Boston Spring Fashion Show! I am so, so grateful.

Vintage in Vogue

I designed this color palette, inspired by carnival candy, brought to life by brancoprata's (StyleCircle) inspiration board:
