DIY {Heart} Cake

So Valentine's Day is approaching.  Sure.  But wouldn't this *also* be such a cute addition to a wedding dessert table?  I don't know about you, but as a guest, I would so rather dig in to this homemade yumminess than a cardboardy wedding cake (cardboardy = officially an adjective, in the dictionary of Kristin).

I wanted to post this fabulous DIY tutorial by i am baker today, rather than closer to Valentine's Day, because a) I know you, and you want enough time to go to the supermercado to pick up your ingredients, and b) you want to make it FOR this weekend, because, let's face it, with Valentine's Day being on a Monday, we get a whole Valentine's WEEKEND this year.  (Oh yeah.  This is really happening.)
