Some big things have been happening here at Bella Bridal Consultants, and frankly, we couldn't be more thrilled! We've grown by leaps and bounds over the past year, and like all experiences in life, we've learned so much about ourselves through the process.
Someone once said necessity breeds invention. Whoever said that is a man (or woman) after my own heart. It's so crazy how throwing yourself head-first into new things-- no matter how uncomfortable they may seem at first-- can result in finding true love. Once upon a time, when a client's etsy purchase fell through at the last minute, we pulled all-nighters fighting our way through Adobe Illustrator and dusted off the designer's desktop manuals from college to design table numbers and programs. When another client was going for a floral style that we completely loved and understood-- but no one in our area really offered-- we took floral arranging classes at the place that inspires us most.
And two really strange things happened:
1) The clients LOVED (loved loved LOVED) the work that we had done for them.
2) We LOVED (loved loved LOVED) creating the work.
So then it dawned on me:
And so began the love affair with paper and flowers. Since those first experiences, we've grown in our abilities-- and passion-- in both. We continue to study both relentlessly, exhausting every possible medium, from textbooks, to the internet, to classes and good 'ole hands-on experience. And dare I say, the love is here to stay.
So with this growth, we have made some big decisions over the past six months. While the core of what we do now is plan and design weddings, we are so much more than that. We're creative. We were born to be creative (have you met us?!). And trying to suppress who we really are will only lead to burnout and feeling unfulfilled. This company is what we make of it, and we desire to make it something lovely.
We're so very happy to announce that Bella Bridal Consultants will be re-branded within the next few months (by a team of professionals across the country whose work is absolutely swoon-worthy!). While we will continue to plan and design weddings with gusto and flair, we are expanding our team-- and repertoire-- to provide floral design and paperie services. With this rebirth will come a new name, which, to some (including our current clients) may be the biggest change of all for them. We're also in the process of building (yep, you heard right... God help us) a new studio where we can meet with clients, design stationery, assemble florals in a temperature-controlled environment, and showcase the tablescapes we work so hard to dream up. It's a dream come true, and it's really happening. Someone pinch me?
What will never change, however, is the dedication and pure, contagious passion we have for what we do. Though we can't share yet what our new name will be, I can share that this name finally encompasses not only our full spectrum of talents, but the pure passion that lies within us and expresses exactly who we are, and what we do.
With Love,
Kristin and Adam
