Vintage-Inspired Cake Toppers

Whenever I look at wedding photos from our grandparents' era, my favorite picture is always of the cake cutting. It seems to be one of the only traditions that hasn't changed all that much. And dare I say, from wedding to wedding, neither did the cake toppers. Those waxy plastic bride and groom figurines with glassy stares were slowly replaced with less predictable options (phew!).

Now that vintage-inspired weddings have made a comeback, you can pay a tribute to the past without sacrificing your own style.  We found these lovelies on etsy, and thought they'd be a great addition to your vintage-inspired wedding:

Great finds, Kristin! Just as a side note, I recently discovered my grandmother's cake topper at the very top of her china cabinet. I took it down and had her recall her wedding day. It was so sweet. :) I love vintage inspired toppers! My favorite is the one by Concarta. They do great work!

Thanks Emma! That is totally priceless... I love finding my grandmother's treasures! I look through her pictures and realize how gorgeous she always was, and is. :)
