Free Printable: The Giving Tree {Save the Dates}

Happy Monday!  I know no Monday is exactly 'happy' on its own, so make the effort today to switch it up.   I pinky swear to do the same.  We're in this Monday together.

So my husband and I had wonderful friends from out-of-state (nine of them, to be exact) crash with us at our house this weekend.  It was so amazing to be in their presence.  So refreshing.  We went to the boardwalk and had amazing boardwalk pizza, went for a walk (past the Jersey Shore house, might I add), and got hollered at by carnies.  (The hollering was a bit awkward, because it's the off-season and there was no crowd to hide behind... I felt if I didn't say, "No, thank you," to every offer to play 'Pop the Balloon' I was being rude...)

It's so funny how you can live next to the coolest places on earth and you just never go there because you get sucked into this daily routine.  Having company this weekend encouraged us to take them around town, and going to the boardwalk made me feel like *I* was on vacation.  Kind of cool.  I highly recommend exploring your own backyard once in awhile!

Well without further adieu, I want to share with you all something that has been near and dear to my heart since childhood: The Giving Tree (a.k.a, one of the best books ever written).  You absolutely cannot be my friend unless you love this book.  And that is final.

This amazing, take-us-back-to-our-childhood free printable Save the Date is brought to you by Cristin and Adam for Merriment Design.

Happy Monday to you too, my friend! I am so in love with anything 'childhood book' related, I swear. Maybe it's because my husband and I met as kids... Who knows!
